In
December, 2004 the head teacher of the Methodist Junior and Infant School
approached the church to see if anyone would be prepared to sew a wall
hanging for the new school entrance. It was to promote the image of the
school including its links to the Methodist Church. Two ladies met with
the Head and rough sketches were drawn. A paper mock-up was produced and
approved and the wall hanging was completed in September, 2005 after many
hours work. The design uses the Methodist Church logo of the red orb
and cross and each quarter illustrates a part of school life; working,
playing, sharing and caring. The
hanging is shown below. The school’s
